 Today the 5th graders listened to great songs of great musicals!We enjoyed Julie Andrews singing about favourite things from "The sound of music" and watched the one and only  Gene Kelly singing and dancing in the rain, the magnificent scene of the famous film "Singing in the rain"!

Friends are very important in our lives and kids know that !We can do anything with a little help from our friends and we can be somebody's wonderwall! Songs by the Beatles and Oasis are there to remind us of that! We talked about a Greek song which is similar to the previously mentioned ones, too!

T.S. ELIOT''s "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" Part II

Cats led the way to be heard to most of the students with great joy! Forms of Art were connected and enjoyed! The music videos we watched on you tube, by the musical "Cats", were great and showed how Art can really trasform all things into greatness! Τραγούδι για τις γουργουρίτσες Οι γουργουρίτσες οι μικρές απόψε βγαίνουν χαρούμενες δυο δυο, όλες, γιατί γουργουροφέγγαρο τους φέγγει και πηγαίνουν στην όμορφη τη Γουργουρογιορτή Οι γουργουρίτσες ειν' ασπρόμαυρα ντυμένες οι γουργουρίτσες είναι φίνες και μικρές οι γουργουρίτσες  είναι τρισευτυχισμένες κι έχουν σοπράνο αξιολάτρευτες φωνές. Οι γουργουρίτσες έχουν εύθυμα μουτράκια Οι γουργουρίτσες έχουν έξυπνα ματάκια ώσπου να βγει το γουργουροφεγγάρι προβάρουνε φιγούρες όλο χάρη.  Οι γουργουρίτσες είναι μικροκαμωμένες Οι γουργουρίτσες αναπτύσσονται αργά Οι γουργουρίτσες είναι ονειροπαρμένες μα την γκαβότα τη χορεύουνε γοργά. Ώσπου να βγει το γουργουροφεγγάρι οι γουργουρίτσες καλλωπίζονται με χάρη πλένονται πίσω απο τ' αυτιά να χαλαρώσουν και τα νυχάκια τους φυσούν για να στεγνώσουν. Οι γουργουρίτσες είναι σικ πάντα ντυμένες έχουν φερσίματα και λάμψη αστεριού οι γουργουρίτσες είναι καλογυμνασμένες οι γουργουρίτσες έχουν ματια φεγγαριού. Το πρωινό συνήθως όλο ησυχάζουν ν' αναπαυτούνε και τ' απόγευμα κοιτάζουν κι η Τερψιχόρη τις ξυπνάει με τη σκέψη μαζί τους στο φεγγάρι να χορέψει. Οι γουργουρίτσες είναι ασπρόμαυρα ντυμένες οι γουργουρίτσες (καθώς είπα) είναι μικρές σαν τύχει να ναι βραδιές συννεφιασμένες στο χωλ ασκούνται σε φιγούρες και στροφές. Μα πάντα , μέρα που έχει ζέστη και λιακάδα, άνεργη ολη χουζουρεύει η ομάδα, οι γουργουρίτσες τις δυνάμεις τους φυλάνε στη γουργουρονυχτιά φρέσκες να πάνε.

Daily routines of 5th graders! Simple present in use!

5th graders talk about their daily routine! A typical day in their lives!

We listened to this amazing music and flew with a seagull, using our imagination, over beautiful seas and clear blue waters, sandy beaches and green forests! We sensed wonderful aromas and felt comforted! We threw away ever negative thought and feeling and kept the positive feelings and experiences! It was a fascinating journey!

5th graders and their favourite games!

 What do you do in your free time? Easter holidays are coming and students will have more free time, so some of them brought their favourite games and presented them to their classmates! A game of chess was presented in the library and we saw typical openings on you tube's chess lessons!
